The New Entrepreneur: Bruce Judson's Go It Alone! The Secret to Building A Successful Business on Your Own

I remember taking an "Introduction to Entrepreneurship" class in Grade 11 (I created a business plan for a Guitar Store in Muskoka). From the point of view of Bruce Judson's free ebook , the entire class pretty much does not apply anymore...

From the intro:

Today, the conventional wisdom about how to start a substantial business is just plain wrong. Now, you don’t need to raise a lot of money first, you don’t need a team of employees, and you don’t need limitless financial resources. This book details how in today’s business environment it is easier, and more possible, than ever to build a significant business on your own with no employees.

Poka Yoke (or lack thereof) in action

Amen - Every day I seem to find something that would be appropriately detailed on this site...

Was delighted to find this one as I can relate personally - I actually own the mug and can attest that getting a noseful of coffe once or twice on the way to work is pretty difficult not to do.

Fat Old Sun

Despite your first impressions, this is not conclusive proof that the Canadian government is performing atomic testing in Prince Edward County. Nope, it's just the dimming of the day as Sam flys a kite on the West end of Wolfe Island..
You may have noticed a recent spike in activity over here.

My buddy Krist is starting to publish some of his photos over at Life Edit

I'm using this as motivation to try to share more of mine - though he has a nicer camera...

Who's Smarter? (part 2)

With the whole Nobel Peace Price thing and all, I'd have to say Mike Pearson is a clear winner on this one... Posted by Picasa

Personally, my money's on Socrates - but I'm pretty sure Jen can take Plato... Posted by Picasa
